Remembering Timmy

On the afternoon of New Years Eve, a terrible thing happened. My brother's best friend, Timmy Flanigan, died in a car accident. He was driving north on US 41 in extremly windy weather when he lost control, flew over the median, and was broadsided by a southbound SUV, and then hit by another truck. He died at the scene.
This is a terrible thing to happen to such a good kid and his family. I remember when he first moved out near us, and he and my brother became nearly instant freinds. The friendship grew from there, into becoming best friends, spending a lot of time together.
I didn't know him real well, as I was not around home too often, but everything I do remember about him was good. From the time he got his puppy Riker (who Fetch loved to play with), to when he first got the car that he loved, he was always a fun loving kid that was a joy to have around. He will certainly be missed by a lot of people.
