Finding Online Deals

It's that time of year again. Time to make cookies, be with friends and family, hang decorations, and buy presents. One of the largest growing sectors in our economy is Internet shopping. But, with hundreds of stores, how are you supposed to find the best price on that perfect gift?

There are places set up such as Price.com, My Simon, DealTime, and PiceWatch. These web sites are set up so you can quickly and easily search through dozens of online merchants for the best prices around. May on them also implement merchant ratings so you know if you can trust a particular merchant or not. These are the best ways to quickly find great deals.

But, of course, these places don't always find the best deals. If you are looking for something for your Mac, try DealMac and DealNN. These places go out, and find the absolute best deals for Mac and computer stuff. However, unlike the aforementioned places, their is no huge database to search through merchant after merchant for what you want.

Don't stop there. DealNews coupons is one of the greatest places to find coupons for online merchants. By using a coupon, you can achieve new deals you never thought possible. For example, Buy.com frequently knocks off $30 on orders of $150 or more, that's 1/5 th price! Before you hit that buy button, make sure you have the best coupon you can get.

Oh, but it doesn't stop there. You have to factor in shipping and handling charges as well. Sometimes, the merchants with the best prices, turn into merchants with the worse prices after shipping. And don't automatically fall for free shipping promotions. Sometimes, merchants will roll the shipping charges into the products' prices, and claim free shipping. This causes the total price at the place with free shipping to be more expensive than places without free shipping. Watch out for that.

By using these sites and techniques, you can get the person you love more gifts for the same amount of money. Just think how much happier they'll be when they unwrap twice as many gifts as originally planned. While the holidays aren't supposed to be material based, it's always much more fun when you get more gifts. Have a happy and safe holiday season.

Arbitrary Quote - I finally came up with a punishment for the boy. First, no leaving the house, not even for school. Second, no egg nog. In fact, no nog period! And third, absolutely no stealing for three months!
